  • Overview

    DDC-CS d.b.a. DDC-4C is wholly owned by Diné Development Corporation (DDC), a Navajo Nation owned Tribal Corporation that governs the DDC-4C entity in its business ventures. DDC was established in 2004 with initial capitalization from the Business and Industrial Development Fund of the Navajo Nation. DDC is a proactive business corporation established by the Navajo Nation Council as a holding company to establish, invest in, own, and operate subsidiary corporations and companies. We strive to promote Navajo Nation entrepreneurship while serving Reservation market and labor needs.


    Manage and perform on-site environmental duties such as:

    • Collection, transportation, and storage of hazardous waste
    • Perform lab packing and drum bulking to prepare shipments to a TSDF
    • Collection, tracking, and reporting of environmental data
    • Clean-up of chemical and petroleum spills
    • Manage operation of remediation systems
    • Complete waste analysis sampling
    • Complete building inspections and self-assessments for environmental compliance.

    Organize and develop documentation to meet GSFC's environmental reporting and record-keeping requirements (i.e., Tier II Report, TRI Report, Hazardous Waste Report, Annual PCB Report and Pollution Prevention Report).

    Develop work instructions to plan, track, and report routine and non-routine records, permits, and reports.

    Perform peer document reviews in support of the Task QA/QC Plan.



    • OSHA Hazard Communications Training (employer provided)
    • Hazwoper 40 hour Training (provided as needed)
    • 8 hour Hazwoper Refresher (employer provides annually)
    • Hazardous Materials Transportation Skills Training (provided as needed)
    • RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Training (employer provides annually)
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft software

    • Must be able to perform field sampling techniques

    • Must be able to read laboratory reports and interpret results as it applies to waste characterization.
    • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Experience within NASA or the federal government a PLUS!

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and use equipment to move heavier items such as drums. .
    • Must be able to work in hot and cold climates.
    • Must be able to wear a respirator (employer provides respirator, physical, and fit test)
